Kowloon for a night.

My layovers have sometimes been spent in overcrowded airline gates while trying to find an empty bench to rest my eyes and using my carryon as a pillow, or in a dusty hotel with only a few hours sleep and no way to get to and from the airport because the bus driver "won't allow luggage on".  (Thanks Heathrow Hoppa Bus)

So while planning our trip to Singapore I found out we had the chance for a 4 hour or 24 hour layover in Hong Kong and I knew we had to take the opportunity to see the city.

It was only for a night but Hong Kong will always be the best layover I've had.

What a night! So many colours, sounds and smells.

Brilliant Hong Kong!

Edit! Edit! Edit!

Even tho I'm back at my 40 hour work weeks I'm trying to find time to go trough our historically library which is our photos.

Good news is that we have a big story to share, bad news is...it'll take awhile.

So while I fill my lunch breaks with comparing the focal point Hong Kong street signs and asking google how do I crop Marina Bay Sands to get a feeling of vertigo, please enjoy a crazy monkey who decided to groom me. (It was needed I'm sure!)

Snow Day!

After four days of sunshine the March weather was bound to catch up.

Instead of being stuck in the house we decided to walk the mile down to a cafe.

Waayyy to excited for this weather.

Brother and Sister

We finally made it, only to remember that we had to walk back after!

We're enjoying this weather and spending time with family.

What could be better?

Red Rocks

This was my first time visiting Red Rocks.

Jane had been here before to see an outdoor showing of Top Gun.

When the amphitheatre isn't being used as a venue, people are running around and using it to get fit.

I love the outdoor lifestyle that sunny Colorado brings.

Thanks for watching. More from our snow day coming soon...
